Emily started studying photography in 2018 and discovered the art of photojournalism around the same time. Since then, she has photographed many protests and stories through a documentary style approach. One of her most notable projects in this style is 'I Once Cared For You, Now You Care For Me', a documentary photography series following her mothers experience caring for her grandad during the second COVID lockdown. The series won Runner Up in a Documentary Feature Series at the Falmouth University Press Awards in 2021. You can view the full series here.
